Targum su Genesi 37:21

וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע רְאוּבֵ֔ן וַיַּצִּלֵ֖הוּ מִיָּדָ֑ם וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לֹ֥א נַכֶּ֖נּוּ נָֽפֶשׁ׃

Ruben, ciò udito, lo sottrasse alla loro mano, e disse: Nol togliamo di vita.

And Reuben heard, and delivered him from their hands, and said, We will not kill him nor become guilty of his blood.
