Targum su Genesi 44:34
כִּי־אֵיךְ֙ אֶֽעֱלֶ֣ה אֶל־אָבִ֔י וְהַנַּ֖עַר אֵינֶ֣נּוּ אִתִּ֑י פֶּ֚ן אֶרְאֶ֣ה בָרָ֔ע אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִמְצָ֖א אֶת־אָבִֽי׃
Poiché come potrei recarmi presso mio padre, senz’aver meco il giovinetto? (Accetta dunque il cambio) ond’io non sia testimonio del male che avverrebbe a mio padre.

For how can I go up to my father, and the young man be not with us lest I behold the evil that will strike my father through!
