וַיֹּ֕אמֶר כִּ֚י אֶת־שֶׁ֣בַע כְּבָשֹׂ֔ת תִּקַּ֖ח מִיָּדִ֑י בַּעֲבוּר֙ תִּֽהְיֶה־לִּ֣י לְעֵדָ֔ה כִּ֥י חָפַ֖רְתִּי אֶת־הַבְּאֵ֥ר הַזֹּֽאת׃
E (questi) disse: Voglio che tu riceva da me sette pecorelle, affinché ciò mi serva di testimonio, che son io che feci scavare questo pozzo.
Targum Jonathan on Genesis
And he said, That thou mayest take the seven lambs from my hand, to be a testimony for me that I have digged this well.
