וְגַנּוֹתִ֛י עַל־הָעִ֥יר הַזֹּ֖את לְהֽוֹשִׁיעָ֑הּ לְמַֽעֲנִ֔י וּלְמַ֖עַן דָּוִ֥ד עַבְדִּֽי׃ (ס)
Difenderò questa città per salvarla, per amor mio, e per il mio servo David'per amor di s.'
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
For I will defend this city to save it, for the sake of my WORD, and for the sake of David my servant.
