Targum su Isaia 44:17
וּשְׁאֵ֣רִית֔וֹ לְאֵ֥ל עָשָׂ֖ה לְפִסְל֑וֹ יסגוד־[יִסְגָּד־] ל֤וֹ וְיִשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ וְיִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל אֵלָ֔יו וְיֹאמַר֙ הַצִּילֵ֔נִי כִּ֥י אֵלִ֖י אָֽתָּה׃
E il suo residuo rende un dio, persino la sua immagine scolpita; Si abbassa su di esso e si adora, e prega su di esso e dice:'Liberami, perché tu sei il mio dio.'
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
And the remainder thereof he maketh a god; to the image he boweth down; he becometh servile to it, and prayeth to it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
