Targum su Isaia 58:5

הֲכָזֶ֗ה יִֽהְיֶה֙ צ֣וֹם אֶבְחָרֵ֔הוּ י֛וֹם עַנּ֥וֹת אָדָ֖ם נַפְשׁ֑וֹ הֲלָכֹ֨ף כְּאַגְמֹ֜ן רֹאשׁ֗וֹ וְשַׂ֤ק וָאֵ֙פֶר֙ יַצִּ֔יעַ הֲלָזֶה֙ תִּקְרָא־צ֔וֹם וְי֥וֹם רָצ֖וֹן לַיהוָֽה׃

È così veloce che ho scelto? Il giorno in cui un uomo affligge la sua anima? È chinarsi la testa come un giunco ​​e spargere sacco e cenere sotto di lui? Chiamerai questo un digiuno e un giorno accettabile per l'Eterno?
