מִֽי־שָׁמַ֣ע כָּזֹ֗את מִ֤י רָאָה֙ כָּאֵ֔לֶּה הֲי֤וּחַל אֶ֙רֶץ֙ בְּי֣וֹם אֶחָ֔ד אִם־יִוָּ֥לֵֽד גּ֖וֹי פַּ֣עַם אֶחָ֑ת כִּֽי־חָ֛לָה גַּם־יָלְדָ֥ה צִיּ֖וֹן אֶת־בָּנֶֽיהָ׃
Chi ha sentito una cosa simile? Chi ha visto queste cose? Una terra nasce in un giorno? Una nazione è nata allo stesso tempo? Non appena Sion travagliò, partorì i suoi figli.
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Is it possible that a country be made in one day, and a nation be created at once? but Zion shall be comforted, and shall be filled with the people of the captivity of her captivity.
