הֲלֹ֥א כְּכַרְכְּמִ֖ישׁ כַּלְנ֑וֹ אִם־לֹ֤א כְאַרְפַּד֙ חֲמָ֔ת אִם־לֹ֥א כְדַמֶּ֖שֶׂק שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃
Calno non è Carchemico? Hamath non è Arpad? Samaria non è forse Damasco?
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Is it not so? As Carchemish is subdued before me, shall not Calno be so? Surely, as Arphad is delivered into my hands, shall not Hamath be so? As I have done to Damascus, so will I do to Samaria.
