לֹ֧א בַסֵּ֣תֶר דִּבַּ֗רְתִּי בִּמְקוֹם֙ אֶ֣רֶץ חֹ֔שֶׁךְ לֹ֥א אָמַ֛רְתִּי לְזֶ֥רַע יַעֲקֹ֖ב תֹּ֣הוּ בַקְּשׁ֑וּנִי אֲנִ֤י יְהוָה֙ דֹּבֵ֣ר צֶ֔דֶק מַגִּ֖יד מֵישָׁרִֽים׃
Non ho parlato in segreto, in un luogo della terra delle tenebre; Non dissi al seme di Giacobbe:'Cercatemi invano'; Io, il Signore, parlo di giustizia, dichiaro le cose giuste.

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth; I said not unto the seed of the house of Jacob, Seek me reverently in vain; I the Lord speak the truth, declaring upright things.
