וַיַּרְא֙ כִּֽי־אֵ֣ין אִ֔ישׁ וַיִּשְׁתּוֹמֵ֖ם כִּ֣י אֵ֣ין מַפְגִּ֑יעַ וַתּ֤וֹשַֽׁע לוֹ֙ זְרֹע֔וֹ וְצִדְקָת֖וֹ הִ֥יא סְמָכָֽתְהוּ׃
E vide che non c'era uomo, e si stupì che non ci fosse intercessore; Perciò il suo braccio gli portò la salvezza; E la sua giustizia lo sostenne;
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
And it is revealed in His sight that there is no man who hath good works, and it is known to Him that there is no man, who would arise and seek after them: therefore He will redeem them by the arm of His strength, and by the WORD of His delight He will help them.
