Targum su Giona 1:12
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם שָׂא֙וּנִי֙ וַהֲטִילֻ֣נִי אֶל־הַיָּ֔ם וְיִשְׁתֹּ֥ק הַיָּ֖ם מֵֽעֲלֵיכֶ֑ם כִּ֚י יוֹדֵ֣עַ אָ֔נִי כִּ֣י בְשֶׁלִּ֔י הַסַּ֧עַר הַגָּד֛וֹל הַזֶּ֖ה עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃
E disse loro: 'Prendimi su e gettami nel mare; così il mare ti sarà calmo; poiché so che per me questa grande tempesta è su di te.'
Targum Jonathan on Jonah
And he said to them, “Hoist me and throw me into the sea, and the sea will calm from upon you. For I know that it is on my account that this great cyclone is upon you.
