וַיִּשְׂאוּ֙ אֶת־יוֹנָ֔ה וַיְטִלֻ֖הוּ אֶל־הַיָּ֑ם וַיַּעֲמֹ֥ד הַיָּ֖ם מִזַּעְפּֽוֹ׃
Così presero Giona e lo gettarono in mare; e il mare cessò di infuriarsi.
Targum Jonathan on Jonah
And they lifted up Jonah and threw him into the sea, and the sea calmed from its cyclone.
