הִנֵּ֨ה עַמֵּ֤ךְ נָשִׁים֙ בְּקִרְבֵּ֔ךְ לְאֹ֣יְבַ֔יִךְ פָּת֥וֹחַ נִפְתְּח֖וּ שַׁעֲרֵ֣י אַרְצֵ֑ךְ אָכְלָ֥ה אֵ֖שׁ בְּרִיחָֽיִך׃
Ecco, il tuo popolo in mezzo a te sono donne; Le porte della tua terra sono spalancate ai tuoi nemici; Il fuoco ha divorato le tue sbarre.
Targum Jonathan on Nahum
Behold, thy people are weak like women in the midst of thee. To thine enemies shall certainly be opened the gates of thy land, and fire shall consume thy strength.
