Targum su Numeri 31:5
וַיִּמָּֽסְרוּ֙ מֵאַלְפֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶ֖לֶף לַמַּטֶּ֑ה שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֥ר אֶ֖לֶף חֲלוּצֵ֥י צָבָֽא׃
Quindi furono liberati, tra le migliaia di Israele, un migliaio di ogni tribù, dodicimila armati per la guerra.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
And of the thousands of Israel fit men were chosen who gave up themselves, a thousand of a tribe, twelve thousand, armed for the war.
