Targum su Rut 1:12
שֹׁ֤בְנָה בְנֹתַי֙ לֵ֔כְןָ כִּ֥י זָקַ֖נְתִּי מִהְי֣וֹת לְאִ֑ישׁ כִּ֤י אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ יֶשׁ־לִ֣י תִקְוָ֔ה גַּ֣ם הָיִ֤יתִי הַלַּ֙יְלָה֙ לְאִ֔ישׁ וְגַ֖ם יָלַ֥דְתִּי בָנִֽים׃
Torna indietro, mie figlie, seguite la vostra strada; perché sono troppo vecchio per avere un marito. Se dovessi dire: ho speranza, dovrei anche avere un marito stanotte e anche avere figli;
