וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ מִ֠שָּׁם וַיִּמְצָ֞א אֶת־אֱלִישָׁ֤ע בֶּן־שָׁפָט֙ וְה֣וּא חֹרֵ֔שׁ שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֤ר צְמָדִים֙ לְפָנָ֔יו וְה֖וּא בִּשְׁנֵ֣ים הֶעָשָׂ֑ר וַיַּעֲבֹ֤ר אֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙ אֵלָ֔יו וַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ךְ אַדַּרְתּ֖וֹ אֵלָֽיו׃
엘리야가 거기서 떠나 사밧의 아들 엘리사를 만나니 저가 열두 겨리 소를 앞세우고 밭을 가는데 자기는 열둘째 겨리와 함께 있더라 엘리야가 그리로 건너가서 겉옷을 그의 위에 던졌더니

“He set out from there and found Elisha, etc.” [19:19]. Elijah found Elisha, who was plowing with twelve pair of oxen. There were eleven servants who were guiding eleven pair of oxen and Elisha was guiding the twelfth pair of oxen. Elijah took his mantle and threw it over Elisha. That is to say, he laid his garment over him. He wanted that he should go with him, and Elijah took back his garment.3Radak, I Kings, 19:19.
