정녕히 너를 말아 싸서 공 같이 광막한 지경에 던질 것이라 주인의 집에 수치를 끼치는 너여 네가 그곳에서 죽겠고 네 영광의 수레도 거기 있으리라

כדור Suddenly.5A. V., Round about. Comp. 22:18.6It is not clear what I. E. means by comparing this passage with 22:18. כדור in that verse means a ball, a round thing. It would be rather far-fetched to suppose that it meant here as quickly and as suddenly as a ball flying through the air meets us. See c. xxii., note 26.

מצנפת. Aus Jesaias 22, 18 ergibt sich, daß צנף eine Kreisbewegung um einen Mittelpunkt bedeutet. Es kommt dort von dem Rollen eines Balles vor. Dem entspricht die Maim. הל׳ כלי המקדש VIII., 19 gegebene Erklärung, daß מצנפת aus einem sechszehn Ellen langen um den Kopf gewundenen Zeuge gebildet wurde. Aus V. 39 wissen wir, daß es aus Byssus verfertigt war.

and also arrange the limbs under it [Heb. דוּר,] an expression of arranging, and so (Isa. 22:18): “He shall wind you around like a turban, like a surrounding wall (כַּדוּר),” a row of surrounding troops. A row (דוּרָה) is translated into Aramaic as דַּרָא. However, Menachem explains it (p. 67) as (verse 9): “Even I shall enlarge the fire (הַמְדוּרָה) .”

The repetition is peculiar.) Comp. (Ezekiel 31:11) “He will deal (עָשׂה יַעֲשֶׂה),” also (supra 22:18): “He shall wind you around (צָנוֹף יִצְנָפְךָ).” And this ‘alef’ comes instead of a ‘heh’. Comp. (II Chron. 20:35) “And afterwards Jehoshaphat joined (אִתְחַבֵּר),” like הִתְחַבֵּר. Here too, אָדוֹשׁ[is like] הִדּוֹשׁ, and Menahem classified it in this manner (Machbereth p. 68).
