ח֣וּר ׀ כַּרְפַּ֣ס וּתְכֵ֗לֶת אָחוּז֙ בְּחַבְלֵי־ב֣וּץ וְאַרְגָּמָ֔ן עַל־גְּלִ֥ילֵי כֶ֖סֶף וְעַמּ֣וּדֵי שֵׁ֑שׁ מִטּ֣וֹת ׀ זָהָ֣ב וָכֶ֗סֶף עַ֛ל רִֽצְפַ֥ת בַּהַט־וָשֵׁ֖שׁ וְדַ֥ר וְסֹחָֽרֶת׃

Były tam opony białe, lniane i hyacyntowe, zawieszone na sznurach z bisioru i szkarłatu na walcach srebrnych i na kolumnach marmurowych; łoża złote i srebrne na posadzce z alabastru i marmuru, z perłowej macicy i kamienia nakrapianego.

On a floor. Floors of green and white, etc. Our Rabbis identified them as types of precious stones.14Ibid. According to the apparent meaning of the verse, these were their names.
