אֱמֹ֗ר כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִ֖ה תִּצְלָ֑ח הֲלוֹא֩ אֶת־שָׁרָשֶׁ֨יהָ יְנַתֵּ֜ק וְאֶת־פִּרְיָ֣הּ ׀ יְקוֹסֵ֣ס וְיָבֵ֗שׁ כָּל־טַרְפֵּ֤י צִמְחָהּ֙ תִּיבָ֔שׁ וְלֹֽא־בִזְרֹ֤עַ גְּדוֹלָה֙ וּבְעַם־רָ֔ב לְמַשְׂא֥וֹת אוֹתָ֖הּ מִשָּׁרָשֶֽׁיהָ׃
Oświadczysz tedy: Tak rzecze Pan Wiekuisty: Czyż to się dobrze skończy? Czyż on korzeni jego nie wyrwie a owocu jego nie odetnie, aby zwiądł, czyż wszystkie świeże wyrosłe jego łodygi nie poschną? I zaprawdę, nie ramieniem potężném i licznym ludem (nadejdzie), aby go unieść od korzeni jego.
