וַתִּשְׁכַּ֞ח יְהוָ֣ה עֹשֶׂ֗ךָ נוֹטֶ֣ה שָׁמַיִם֮ וְיֹסֵ֣ד אָרֶץ֒ וַתְּפַחֵ֨ד תָּמִ֜יד כָּל־הַיּ֗וֹם מִפְּנֵי֙ חֲמַ֣ת הַמֵּצִ֔יק כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר כּוֹנֵ֖ן לְהַשְׁחִ֑ית וְאַיֵּ֖ה חֲמַ֥ת הַמֵּצִֽיק׃

A zapominasz o Wiekuistym, Stwórcy twoim, który rozpiął niebiosa i osadził ziemię, a trwożysz się ustawicznie, każdego dnia, przed gniewem ciemięzcy, gdy mierzy do zaguby; lecz gdzież już gniew tego ciemięzcy?
