Jeremiasza 17:2 Komentarz: Rashi & Tze'enah Ure'enah

Rashi

As they remember their children, [so do they remember] their altars Like the remembrance of their children, so was the remembrance of their altars to them, like a man who longs for his son.

Tze'enah Ure'enah

“While their children remember their altars” [17:2]. The children remember their altars and their linden trees. That is to say, just like someone remembers his beloved son and rejoices when he remembers, so too they rejoice when they remember their foreign gods.4Rashi, Jeremiah, 17:2.
