וְהָיָ֡ה כִּֽי־יָבֹ֣אוּ אֲבוֹתָם֩ א֨וֹ אֲחֵיהֶ֜ם לרוב [לָרִ֣יב ׀] אֵלֵ֗ינוּ וְאָמַ֤רְנוּ אֲלֵיהֶם֙ חָנּ֣וּנוּ אוֹתָ֔ם כִּ֣י לֹ֥א לָקַ֛חְנוּ אִ֥ישׁ אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה כִּ֣י לֹ֥א אַתֶּ֛ם נְתַתֶּ֥ם לָהֶ֖ם כָּעֵ֥ת תֶּאְשָֽׁמוּ׃ (ס)
Gdy następnie przyjdą ojcowie albo bracia ich, aby spór z nami wszczynać, tedy odpowiemy im: Chciejmy je im podarować, ponieważ nie wzięliśmy żon dla każdego z nich w tej wojnie - a przytem nie wyście je im dali - w tym razie byście w istocie zawinili!

We shall tell them we were merciful with them.
