ק֣וּמִי ׀ רֹ֣נִּי בליל [בַלַּ֗יְלָה] לְרֹאשׁ֙ אַשְׁמֻר֔וֹת שִׁפְכִ֤י כַמַּ֙יִם֙ לִבֵּ֔ךְ נֹ֖כַח פְּנֵ֣י אֲדֹנָ֑י שְׂאִ֧י אֵלָ֣יו כַּפַּ֗יִךְ עַל־נֶ֙פֶשׁ֙ עֽוֹלָלַ֔יִךְ הָעֲטוּפִ֥ים בְּרָעָ֖ב בְּרֹ֥אשׁ כָּל־חוּצֽוֹת׃ (ס)
Wstań, wykrzykuj głośno w nocy, na początku straży; wylewaj jako wodę serce twoje przed obliczem Pana, podnieś ku Niemu ręce twoje za życie dziatek twoich, które pomdlały z głodu na wszystkich rogach ulic.

If they have acted perversely in the Presence of their King, with a brazen face; [then] by virtue of every fitting attribute, I offer supplication with a loud voice, [and say to] my soul: “Pour out your heart as water”5Lamentations 2:19. in the presence of Him “Who is pure white and ruddy.”6Song of Songs 5:10. “Why, God, have You cast us off forever.”7Psalms 74:1.
