Talmud do Zachariasza 5:11
I odpowiedział mi: Aby zbudować jej dom w ziemi Szynear, a gdy urządzony będzie, tedy wstawią ją tam na miejscu swojem.
Avot D'Rabbi Natan
Rabbi Natan would say: There is no love like the love of Torah. There is no wisdom like the wisdom of the “way of the world.” There is no beauty like the beauty of Jerusalem. There are no riches like the riches of Media. There is no power like the power of Persia. There is no promiscuity like the promiscuity of Arabs. There is no arrogance like the arrogance of Elam. There is no flattery like the flattery of Babylon, as it says (Zechariah 5:11), “And he said [to me] to build a house for it in the land of Shinar.” And there is no witchcraft like the witchcraft of Egypt.
