לֶ֣חֶם חֲמֻד֞וֹת לֹ֣א אָכַ֗לְתִּי וּבָשָׂ֥ר וָיַ֛יִן לֹא־בָ֥א אֶל־פִּ֖י וְס֣וֹךְ לֹא־סָ֑כְתִּי עַד־מְלֹ֕את שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת שָׁבֻעִ֖ים יָמִֽים׃ (פ)
Nie jadłem przyjemnego chleba, ani mięsa, ani wina nie miałem w ustach, ani namaszczałem się w ogóle, aż do wypełnienia się trzech tygodni.
Daniel
And he said to me: Do not fear, Daniel. For from the first day that you set your heart upon understanding and fasting before your G-d, your words have been heard [and accepted], and I have come [(on this embassy)] because of your words.
