וְעַתָּה֙ לָ֣מָּה נָמ֔וּת כִּ֣י תֹֽאכְלֵ֔נוּ הָאֵ֥שׁ הַגְּדֹלָ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את אִם־יֹסְפִ֣ים ׀ אֲנַ֗חְנוּ לִ֠שְׁמֹעַ אֶת־ק֨וֹל יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ ע֖וֹד וָמָֽתְנוּ׃
A teraz, pocóż nam umierać? Wszak pożre nas ogień ten wielki; jeżeli dalej usłyszym głos Wiekuistego, Boga naszego, pomrzemy!
Targum Jonathan on Deuteronomy
But now why should we die? For this great fire will devour us; if we again hear the voice of the Word of the Lord our God, we shall die.
