וַיִּֽירְא֤וּ הָֽאֲנָשִׁים֙ יִרְאָ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֔ה וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ אֵלָ֖יו מַה־זֹּ֣את עָשִׂ֑יתָ כִּֽי־יָדְע֣וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים כִּֽי־מִלִּפְנֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ ה֣וּא בֹרֵ֔חַ כִּ֥י הִגִּ֖יד לָהֶֽם׃
Ulękli się wtedy owi ludzie strachem wielkim, i rzekli do niego: Cóżeś uczynił! Dowiedzieli się bowiem owi ludzie, że od oblicza Wiekuistego ucieka; gdyż był im to powiedział.
Targum Jonathan on Jonah
And the men were afraid with a great fear, and said to him, “What did you do!?” because the men know that from before the LORD he had fled, since he told them.
