Targum do Liczb 17:13

וַיַּעֲמֹ֥ד בֵּֽין־הַמֵּתִ֖ים וּבֵ֣ין הַֽחַיִּ֑ים וַתֵּעָצַ֖ר הַמַּגֵּפָֽה׃

I stanął między umarłymi a żywymi; a wstrzymaną została klęska.

And Aharon stood in the midst, between the dead and the living with the censer, and interceded in prayer; and the plague was restrained.
