וַיָּ֣מָת נָדָ֣ב וַאֲבִיה֣וּא לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֡ה בְּֽהַקְרִבָם֩ אֵ֨שׁ זָרָ֜ה לִפְנֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר סִינַ֔י וּבָנִ֖ים לֹא־הָי֣וּ לָהֶ֑ם וַיְכַהֵ֤ן אֶלְעָזָר֙ וְאִ֣יתָמָ֔ר עַל־פְּנֵ֖י אַהֲרֹ֥ן אֲבִיהֶֽם׃ (פ)
Umarli wszakże Nadab i Abihu przed Wiekuistym, gdy przynieśli ogień nieuświęcony przed oblicze Wiekuistego - na pustyni Synai; potomstwa zaś nie mieli; a tak piastowali kapłaństwo Elazar i Ithamar przy Ahronie, ojcu swoim.
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
But Nadab and Abihu died by the flaming fire at the time of their offering the strange fire from their own tents; and they had no children. And Elazar and Ithamar ministered before Aharon their father.
