כִּֽי־נֶ֣פֶשׁ כָּל־בָּשָׂ֗ר דָּמ֣וֹ בְנַפְשׁוֹ֮ הוּא֒ וָֽאֹמַר֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל דַּ֥ם כָּל־בָּשָׂ֖ר לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֑לוּ כִּ֣י נֶ֤פֶשׁ כָּל־בָּשָׂר֙ דָּמ֣וֹ הִ֔וא כָּל־אֹכְלָ֖יו יִכָּרֵֽת׃
Porque a vida de toda carne, seu sangue é sua vida; e eu disse aos Filhos de Yisrael: Não comereis o sangue de nenhuma carne, porque a vida de toda carne é o seu sangue; qualquer que o comer será eliminado.
The Gate of Unity
This is in accordance to what was previously explained regarding the,3Leviticus 17:14 “blood which is the soul,” and [regarding] the spiritual power of growth, and [regarding] the eye and the brain etc.
