כְּדַבֵּ֤ר אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ רְתֵ֔ת נָשָׂ֥א ה֖וּא בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֶּאְשַׁ֥ם בַּבַּ֖עַל וַיָּמֹֽת׃

Quando Efraim falava, tremia-se; foi exaltado em Israel; mas quando ele se fez culpado no tocante a Baal, morreu.
