עָֽצְמוּ־לִ֤י אַלְמְנֹתָו֙ מֵח֣וֹל יַמִּ֔ים הֵבֵ֨אתִי לָהֶ֥ם עַל־אֵ֛ם בָּח֖וּר שֹׁדֵ֣ד בַּֽצָּהֳרָ֑יִם הִפַּ֤לְתִּי עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ פִּתְאֹ֔ם עִ֖יר וּבֶהָלֽוֹת׃
As suas viúvas mais se me têm multiplicado do que a areia dos mares; trouxe ao meio-dia um destruidor sobre eles, até sobre a mãe de jovens; fiz que caísse de repente sobre ela angústia e terrores.
