חָשַׁ֤ךְ מִשְּׁחוֹר֙ תָּֽאֳרָ֔ם לֹ֥א נִכְּר֖וּ בַּחוּצ֑וֹת צָפַ֤ד עוֹרָם֙ עַל־עַצְמָ֔ם יָבֵ֖שׁ הָיָ֥ה כָעֵֽץ׃ (ס)

Mas agora escureceu-se o seu parecer mais do que o negrume; eles não são reconhecidos nas ruas; a sua pele se lhes pegou aos ossos; secou-se, tornou-se como um pau.  .

“Dark” [4:8]. Now their figures are blackened and one does not recognize them in the streets, their skin is shrunken on their bones, dry as wood.
