Oséias 14:8 Comentário: Rashi & Tze'enah Ure'enah

Rashi

its fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon Jonathan renders: Like the remembrance of the blasts of the trumpets over the old wine poured for libations in the Temple. For they would blow the trumpets over the libations when the Levites would recite the song.

Tze'enah Ure'enah

“Those who sit in his shade will be revived” [14:8]. Israel will return to the land of Israel and will sit in the city of the Holy One. They will always dwell there because they observe the commandments of the Holy One, just like a person remains alive when he has wheat. They will blossom like a vine, his fragrance like wine. Therefore, he says the taste of wine, since Israel is compared to a wine.6Radak, Hosea, 14:8.
