יַסֵּ֣ר בִּ֭נְךָ כִּי־יֵ֣שׁ תִּקְוָ֑ה וְאֶל־הֲ֝מִית֗וֹ אַל־תִּשָּׂ֥א נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃

Corrige a teu filho enquanto há esperança; mas não te incites a destruí-lo.

Chastise your son for there is hope, but do not set your heart on his destruction Do not deal him a lethal blow.
