וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ עַבְדֵי֩ אַבְשָׁל֨וֹם אֶֽל־הָאִשָּׁ֜ה הַבַּ֗יְתָה וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ אַיֵּ֗ה אֲחִימַ֙עַץ֙ וִיה֣וֹנָתָ֔ן וַתֹּ֤אמֶר לָהֶם֙ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה עָבְר֖וּ מִיכַ֣ל הַמָּ֑יִם וַיְבַקְשׁוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א מָצָ֔אוּ וַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ (ס)

Chegando, pois, os servos de Absalão àquela casa, perguntaram à mulher:  Onde estão Aimaaz e Jônatas? Respondeu-lhes a mulher:  Já passaram a corrente das águas.  E, havendo-os procurado sem os encontrarem, voltaram para Jerusalém.

Stream of water. I do not know the translation of this word מִיכַל. In the Machberes7Notebook written by Menachem (one of the Rishonim). [under the entry] כַּל [he writes] that its translation is according to the context. [Here] its as [if to say] streaming water of the river.
