Derashot HaRan
The third problem lies in the statement (Devarim 11:6): "and what He did to Dathan and Aviram, the sons of Eliav, the son of Reuven; how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all that stood at their feet, in the midst of all of Israel." There is cause for wonder here. Why mention Dathan and Aviram and not Korach, the central figure in the rebellion — Dathan and Aviram having joined him because they were his neighbors. Korach, being the central figure, should have received greater mention. This is the third problem.
