כִּֽי־רַבּ֤וּ פְשָׁעֵ֙ינוּ֙ נֶגְדֶּ֔ךָ וְחַטֹּאותֵ֖ינוּ עָ֣נְתָה בָּ֑נוּ כִּֽי־פְשָׁעֵ֣ינוּ אִתָּ֔נוּ וַעֲוֺנֹתֵ֖ינוּ יְדַֽעֲנֽוּם׃
Porque as nossas transgressões se multiplicaram perante ti, e os nossos pecados testificam contra nós; pois as nossas transgressões estão conosco, e conhecemos as nossas iniqüidades.
Duties of the Heart
(1) The penitent should confess his sins, and realize their enormity in his eyes and in his heart, as written "For our transgressions against You are many, and our sins have testified against us" (Yeshaya 59:12).
