Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? He went to inquire of God (cf Bereishit 25:22). He shouted a great and bitter shout (Esther 4:1) and said: Master of the Universe, it is written "Thus a man should leave his father and his mother and cleave to his wife and they should be one flesh" (Bereishit 2:24).
