וְכַאֲשֶׁר֙ יְעַנּ֣וּ אֹת֔וֹ כֵּ֥ן יִרְבֶּ֖ה וְכֵ֣ן יִפְרֹ֑ץ וַיָּקֻ֕צוּ מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Mas quanto mais eles os oprimiam, tanto mais eles se multiplicavam e se espalhavam, e os egípcios temiam os filhos de Yisrael.

According to another interpretation, “What God had done for Moses” refers to the time when he was thrown into the Nile and when he was saved from Pharaoh’s sword, and “for Israel his people” to the time when “He heard the groaning”.’
