Êxodo 22:8 Cabalá: Sha'arei Orah

Para qualquer questão de transgressão — seja sobre boi, jumento, ovelha, roupa, ou qualquer coisa perdida — sobre a qual alguém disser: "Esta é minha", a palavra de ambos será levada perante os Elohim. Aquele que for considerado culpado pelos Elohim pagará o dobro ao seu próximo. {ס}

Sha'arei Orah

This is what our sages meant when they said,11Talmud Bavli, Rosh HaShanah 11a, and see Rashi there. “All the acts of creation (Ma’aseh Bereishit) were created with their knowledge, with their full stature, and with their reason and consent.” “With their knowledge” – means that they understood what will be with them. “With their full stature” – means that they understood what the size of their body and the form of their limbs would be. “With their reason and consent” – means that they desired and agreed to accept it all upon themselves.

It therefore is incumbent upon you to contemplate that in a time of judgment, whoever is a judge or has been appointed to preside over the judgment-Din, whether he is an angel or a man, is called God-Elohi”m-אלהי״ם. This is the meaning of the verse,81Exodus 22:8 – See Targum Onkelos there. “The claims of both shall come before the judges-Elohi”m-אלהי״ם, and the one who the judges-Elohi”m-אלהי״ם found guilty, shall pay double to his fellow.” Another verse similarly states,82Exodus 22:27 – See Targum Onkelos there. “You shall not curse a judge-Elohi”m-אלהי״ם,” and it states,83Deuteronomy 1:17 “For judgment is God’s-Elohi”m-אלהי״ם.”
