וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח פַּרְעֹ֗ה וַיִּקְרָא֙ לְמֹשֶׁ֣ה וּֽלְאַהֲרֹ֔ן וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֖ם חָטָ֣אתִי הַפָּ֑עַם יְהוָה֙ הַצַּדִּ֔יק וַאֲנִ֥י וְעַמִּ֖י הָרְשָׁעִֽים׃
Então Paroh mandou chamar Moshe e Aharon e lhes disse: "Pequei desta vez; o Eterno é justo, e eu e meu povo somos ímpios.

When Pharaoh acknowledged Him by saying: “The Lord is the righteous” (Ex. 9, 27), all other kings had to follow suit: “Then the dukes of Edom were terrified” (Ibid. 16, 15); for Pharaoh was then the overlord of the whole world.
