It was taught in the school of Rabbi Yishmael: Even if Israel was privileged only to greet their Father in heaven, once a month, it would be sufficient for them.⁷Whoever welcomes the new moon by reciting the blessing to God, welcomes the Shechinah, the Divine Presence of God.
