בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֜י בְּאַרְבָּעָ֨ה עָשָׂ֥ר י֛וֹם בֵּ֥ין הָעַרְבַּ֖יִם יַעֲשׂ֣וּ אֹת֑וֹ עַל־מַצּ֥וֹת וּמְרֹרִ֖ים יֹאכְלֻֽהוּ׃
No segundo mês, no dia: catorze, à tardinha, a celebrarão; comê-la-ão com pães ázimos e ervas amargas.

He would wrap the matsa and marror and eat them together, in order to fulfill what is stated, (Numbers 9:11): "You should eat it upon matsot and marrorim."
