Deuteronômio 13:8 Midrash: Sifrei Devarim

מֵאֱלֹהֵ֣י הָֽעַמִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁר֙ סְבִיבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם הַקְּרֹבִ֣ים אֵלֶ֔יךָ א֖וֹ הָרְחֹקִ֣ים מִמֶּ֑ךָּ מִקְצֵ֥ה הָאָ֖רֶץ וְעַד־קְצֵ֥ה הָאָֽרֶץ׃

dos deuses dos povos que estão ao redor de vós, próximos ou distantes, desde uma extremidade da terra até a outra extremidade da terra,

Sifrei Devarim

(Devarim 13:8) "Of the gods of the peoples around you, who are near to you or who are far from you": From what you know of (the inefficacy of the gods of) the near ones, you should know what the far ones are like.
