וַיְהִ֣י ׀ כְּמֵשִׁ֣יב יָד֗וֹ וְהִנֵּה֙ יָצָ֣א אָחִ֔יו וַתֹּ֕אמֶר מַה־פָּרַ֖צְתָּ עָלֶ֣יךָ פָּ֑רֶץ וַיִּקְרָ֥א שְׁמ֖וֹ פָּֽרֶץ׃
E aconteceu que, quando ele recolheu sua mão, eis que seu irmão saiu, e ela disse: "Como rompeste uma abertura para ti!" E ele chamou seu nome de Peretz.
