וַיִּשְׁחָ֗ט וַיִּקַּ֨ח מֹשֶׁ֤ה אֶת־הַדָּם֙ וַ֠יִּתֵּן עַל־קַרְנ֨וֹת הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ סָבִיב֙ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ וַיְחַטֵּ֖א אֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְאֶת־הַדָּ֗ם יָצַק֙ אֶל־יְס֣וֹד הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וַֽיְקַדְּשֵׁ֖הוּ לְכַפֵּ֥ר עָלָֽיו׃
Depois de abatê-lo, Moshe tomou o sangue e o colocou sobre as pontas do altar ao redor com seu dedo, e purificou o altar; e o sangue derramou na base do altar, e o santificou para fazer expiação por ele.

R’ Yishmael said ‘around’ is said here, and ‘around’ (Vayikra 8:15) is said elsewhere: just as there it means four separate applications, so too here it means four separate applications.
