כִּֽי־זֶ֣רַע הַשָּׁל֗וֹם הַגֶּ֜פֶן תִּתֵּ֤ן פִּרְיָהּ֙ וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ תִּתֵּ֣ן אֶת־יְבוּלָ֔הּ וְהַשָּׁמַ֖יִם יִתְּנ֣וּ טַלָּ֑ם וְהִנְחַלְתִּ֗י אֶת־שְׁאֵרִ֛ית הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֖ה אֶת־כָּל־אֵֽלֶּה׃
porquanto haverá a sementeira de paz; a vide dará o seu fruto, e a terra dará a sua novidade, e os céus darão o seu orvalho; e farei que o resto deste povo herde todas essas coisas.
Tractate Derekh Eretz Zuta
R. Joshua said: Great is peace, for [the children of] Israel are called ‘peace’, as it is stated, For as the seed of peace, the vine shall give her fruit.47Zech. 8, 12. To whom will peace [be given]? To the seed of peace.
