הֻכָּ֣ה אֶפְרַ֔יִם שָׁרְשָׁ֥ם יָבֵ֖שׁ פְּרִ֣י בלי־[בַֽל־] יַעֲשׂ֑וּן גַּ֚ם כִּ֣י יֵֽלֵד֔וּן וְהֵמַתִּ֖י מַחֲמַדֵּ֥י בִטְנָֽם׃ (ס)
Efraim foi ferido, secou-se a sua raiz; eles não darão fruto; sim, ainda que gerem, eu matarei os frutos desejáveis do seu ventre.
