וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֗ה מִלְא֨וּ יֶדְכֶ֤ם הַיּוֹם֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה כִּ֛י אִ֥ישׁ בִּבְנ֖וֹ וּבְאָחִ֑יו וְלָתֵ֧ת עֲלֵיכֶ֛ם הַיּ֖וֹם בְּרָכָֽה׃
Porquanto Moisés tinha dito: <span class="x" onmousemove="Show('perush','Nada de “consagrai” no hebraico. “Enchei vossas mãos” é a expressão, e refere-se ao empunhar a espada.');" onmouseout="Hide('perush');">Consagrai-vos hoje ao SENHOR</span>; porque cada um será contra o seu filho, e contra o seu irmão; para que o SENHOR vos conceda hoje uma bênção.
Targum Jonathan on Exodus
And Mosheh said, Offer your oblation for the shedding of the blood that is upon your hands, and make atonement for yourselves before the Lord, because you have smitten a man his son or his brother, and that you may bring a blessing upon you this day.
